Re: Bench Power Supplies?

leaning towards picking up an HP/Agilent off of Ebay at the moment to be honest. I'm using an ATX compliant server power supply at the moment. it's actually a dual/redundant Enermax power supply, about 750watts, extremely overkill.

Bench Power Supplies?

I don't beleive I'm alone in my desire to have a good reliable bench power supply. I'm on the fence about whether to build, buy, or hack. Does anyone have experience, or opinions? I'm thinking I"ll do one of three things: $100-$200 - Buy a used HP/Agilent 36xx bench power supply, something like a 36...

Re: EVENT IDEA: Arduino Hack Night

well if coops has an AVR dragon, we could get a pile of atmega 168's or 328's and burn them all with the arduino bootloader, and breadboard up some arduino clones? (unless people are really hell bent on using arduino shields, then we'll need to buy or fab PCB's due to the retarded pin spacing)

Re: Logo Ideas

i've been trying to come up with something involving a wrench and a soldering iron, if someone wants to roll with that, feel free. I briefly thought of trying to do a jolly roger with a space invaders character for the skull and wrench and soldering iron for the cross bones, but it seemed pretty dar...

I'll add more stuff as I go through it. Computer RAM, Prices for everything are 50% of whatever OTV is currently char...

Forum suggestion: Buy/Sell/Trade section?

Just a suggestion, if the mods see fit, we should create a buy/sell/trade forum. I was thinking that I could post up a bunch of the stuff I've got laying around, proceeds from the sale of any/all of it can go toward our CapEX fund. I've got a ton of RAM and other misc. computer parts. edit: also, I ...
