Free Computer Stuff
Last night Dan, Ryan, tim, and myself picked up a truck load of stuff from Iron Solutions Inc. Lots of surplus IT equipment and a ton of cables. Feel free to go thorugh it, take what you want (for home or at the space) and I'll be back next week to take the rest to sarcan.

Hi Bill, thanks for signing up, and best of luck starting a local hackerspace! We've had a lot of fun so far at techworks, and are planning to have an open house at the space sometime soon. CNC paper cutter sounds cool. I want to see it live and in action! I doubt a CNC paper cutter would have crossed my mind, but now taht it has been brought to my attension I can easily come up with a half dozen interesting uses for one. As far as the "boys club" thing goes, I think my wife might be interested in doing some stuff, she enjoys sewing/crafts etc. she makes her own paper, and sews shoes to sell online for children, and some other artsy stuff. She also has a CNC paper cutter, so +1 geek factor!

so, squarespace costs $15/month after the two week trial, think we could just rip-off the design (css and html) and host it for free? or are we really in love with the CMS backend that it makes it worth it?
