$25 PC?

Discussions on anything related to the evolving idea of Saskatoon's first "makerspace". What is a makerspace to you? What should it be called? What's the charter?

This is pretty amazing... and for less cost than the arduino.

Looks like a great computer core. It's not a system on chip - more like a system on FOB?

There must be some sort of header beneath the camera add-on. There may be a few issues interfacing to real-world Inputs and Outputs.

I could see this being added to the Arduino.
- Arduino control the motors, reads the sensors, filters the sensors
- Any software you need more horsepower for - the $25 PC is already connected to the USB port. Plug in a keyboard and a monitor, then hack away. Like a built-in laptop.
- usb camera, datalogging, wireless ethernet interface.

Of course, you can already buy or build shields for those.

It looks like they will be focusing on educational applications for third world markets. But that may change

I have half a mind to integrate one of these into my Model M and bring back "luggable computing" :D
