As part of bieng a non-profit organisation we are required to have a board of directors. As part of our articles of incorporation we have specified that we will have a number of board members 3 or more, but no more than 7. We will be looking for 7 members to become our initial board of directors.
So, I'd like to open up nominations for our Board of Directors. These individuals will be required to attend all general, board, and annual meetings and are expected to contribute their time and personal resources beyond what is required for membership. Please see our bylaws page on the wiki for additional information regarding the board.
Position internal to the board (President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary) will be appointed within the Board of Directors.
Nominated members will be balloted for at the next general meeting. Also, you may nominate yourself, or another member. Members who are nominated, but do not wish to participate will not be balloted on.
